It's about time for some updates...
We got a new suspension in the car for this year, these are D2 coilovers with a little added touch from Mike at AWD Motorsports:




And we had this show up today... Our STM Forward Facing Manifold with a PTE 6262 attached...






Oh... and we'll be making a trip to Ohio very soon to see Dave Buschur and pick up our fully built 2.0 motor... {thumbup}

Damn that's awesome. The 6262 seems to be the turbo of choice for a lot of people lately, can't wait to see it up and running!!

Not trying to be the one that says "OMFG you're doing it wrong," but have you ever heart of Tillett Racing Seats? They are more popular among the Lotus RoadRacing guys and those across the pond (because they are British), but I think they have a place in your application.
I'm just thinking purely in terms of weight saving here. How much lighter do you think these are over the Sparco's? I rode in an Elise that had them, and they were very comfortable and felt solid.

Those don't look like they would pass track certification, which the Sparco's will. I might be wrong, but that's just what it looks like to me. Plus I don't think sitting on carbon fiber with no padding driving around on the street would be very comfortable...

They have other models that have adequate padding. They are very comfortable.
Would there be a place to look up whether or not they will pass certification?
Tillett is a very well known company, I find it hard to believe they would produce any race product that wasn't able to pass a tech inspection.

holy god i want those d2 coilovers (I want d2 big brakes as well but just sayin) Ricer is looking better all the time! It is still a personal goal to see it run in person
